Preening Bird
This is a lovely piece called Preening Bird.
It is in Leopard rock and it has an incredibly high shine to the surface due to the density of the stone.
Leopard Rock varies in colour dramatically. This particular piece is a pale yellow green with darker green shading and flecking.
It is also a stone which is difficult to source and expensive. Therefore you tend to find that only the more experienced artists are able to afford it and have the skill to work with it.
The piece is 44cm high.
