Grayham Rugoyi
Grayham was born in 1983 in Chitungwiza.
His sculpting career started in 1999 and he was taught by Ignatius Zhaki for two years.
He still lives in Chitungwiza and works from Chitungwiza Art Centre.
Grayham is mostly inspired by the works of Ishmael Chitiyo and his relationships with friends.
Grayham is passionate about the world around him and its creation. Asked recently, how this reflected in sculpting, he said, "We are Gods creation we are given the tools to create something that has a meaning. Life is very hard, it is not easy, it needs a lot of patience."
His work has been exhibited in the U.K. and Germany.
