John Type
John was born in Madamombe Hospital in Marondera in Zimbabwe in 1972 and began sculpting independantly in 1989.
He is married with 2 children and both lives and works in Chitungwiza.
His sculpture training began in 1988 with the late Moses Masaya where he stayed for 6 months.
John speaks regularly of the late Kennedy Migeal as one of his leading sources of inspiration.
John has always been able to evoke lots of different emotions through his work which is usually abstract human forms.
His work has gone as far as Holland, Germany, U.S.A, Belgium, Australia, U.K, Canada.
