Tendai Mushawepwere
Tendai was born in Chief Nyamukoho in Mutoko in 1971 and now lives with his wife Joicy Mataga and their daughter Priviledge.
He has a true love for African culture and some say he has brought new blood to sculpting and how he reflects his cultural observations into his work.
Tendai was trained by the late Chikuse Padzuwa for 2 years in Chitungwiza. Chikuse died in 2000, a death which had a profound effect on Tendai and his work.
He still lives and works from Chitungwiza.
Tendai's work has been exhibited in U.K. and America.
