Peter Tendenguwo
Peter Tendenguwo was born in Mrehwa in Zimbabwe in 1975. He is married with two children.
He was trained in Waterfalls, Harare by his brother Isaac and Chenjerai Chiripanyanga for 5 years.
He lives and works from Harare.
Peter has a unique talent in making stone birds with metal necks, heads and legs which we fell in love with immediately. There is a lovely simplicity to them which always brings a smile to your face as you can see each one has its own inimitable personality.
He is always looking to produce new and fun pieces of sculpture and is always on our list to visit when we are in town.
The picture shown is one of Peter and his daughter holding one of his popular creations the 'Bird on a Stick'.
His worked has been exhibited in America, U.K., Holland, France, German and Austria.
