Chenjerai Chiripanyanga

Chenjerai was born in 1972 in Mutoko in Zimbabwe. He is married with 3 children.

He started to sculpt in 1990 under the tutorship of fabian Kangayi and Paul Wede.

Chenjerai is very much inspired by the likes of Nicholas Mukomberanwa, Taphuma Gutsa and the western influence of Henry Moore. The environment and our place within it is also an important inspiration to him.

He favours hard stones such as Cobalt and Springstone.

He lives and works in Harare.

Chenjerai's pieces have been exhibited in U.S.A, U.K., Holland, Belgium and Germany.
