Authur Manyengedzo
Born in Zimbabwe in Masvingo in 1977, Authur became a full time artist in 1995. He is married with one child.
He spent a year learning how to sculpt with Locadia Ndandarika in Chitungwiza.
His first beacon of inspiration was Locadia but later the environment and social activities of people around him took a larger part of his heart.
His two brothers, Arab and Tinashe are also succesful artists.
Authur prefers working on hard stones like Springstone and Opal.
He lives and works from Chitungwiza.
His work has been exhibited in the U.K., U.S.A., Germany, Holland, Belgium, Australia, South Korea, Northern Ireland and Canada.
