Clive Gono
Clive was born in Harare in 1969 and began sculpting in 1985. He is married with three children.
He trained with renowned artist Shadu Chatsama for two years in Chitungwiza.
Shadu influenced and helped him understand how to express his love of art through his work.
Clive owes much of his inspiration to the world around him and his love and admiration for his wife.
He currently lives in Chitungwiza and works from the Chitungwiza Arts Centre with its other members.
His younger brother also sculpts.
Clives work is tremendously popular around the world and is on display in Germany, United States, United Kingdom, South Africa and parts of Asia.
